We are pleased to invite you to two full-day education seminars initiated/sponsored by BC Hydro and hosted in partnership with APEGBC. Here is the brief description of the seminars:
The April 20 and April 27’s education seminars, hosted by APEGBC and BC Hydro, are developed to demonstrate the correct methods and common pitfalls of design, sizing, energy modeling, installation, operation and maintenance of various heat pump systems. The intent of these education seminars is to provide a technical overview of proper applications of heat pump technologies and to bridge the gap between heat pump design, energy modeling and operations as these topics do not seem to be consolidated and offered in the various educational programs. As a result, the majority of practicing engineers designing these systems learn by trial and error in real life application, which can cause building owners to have a negative perception of this technology.
The number of seats is limited, so make sure to register on time. Please forward this e-mail to anyone you think would benefit from these education seminars.
