Large buildings are quickly becoming a dominant feature of the Passive House landscape in North America. High efficiency, well designed HVAC systems are critical to the performance and operation of large Passive House buildings. Yet there are many misconceptions surround requirements and acceptable approaches.
Collaborating partners ZEBx and Peel Passive House have developed this half-day course, where participants will gain a solid understanding of how Passive House approaches HVAC in large buildings.
Hosted at Integral Group’s office in Vancouver, subject matter experts from Integral will participate in course discussions to lend their expertise and insights from past projects.

Through the completion of this course, architects and architectural technologists can earn 3.75 Core Learning Units, designated by the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC).

A subject-matter expert from Integral Group will join the workshop to present on local project examples. Through intimate group discussions with the Integral representative, course participants will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights on green building system design and energy engineering across a range of building types.
